Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

This show has quickly become my second favorite show on tv (after the Office). The show just got picked up for the full season, and it continues to outperform the first season.

The story arc for the season is providing great justice to the source material. I wish the writers for Smallville would realize they don't have to create new folk lord to make the material interesting. Exploring the details of the character, especially for a character driven story, can provide enjoyment for the audience. This is even more true because in both cases, the stories about Superman/John Connor are not about their character, but there actions/choices.

The writers are providing great complexity to John's character. Each week, the show has found the perfect mix of "monster of the week" element, progressing the season's story arc, and developing John's character.

Spoiler alert,------

I think this seasons arc will ultimately make John's mother Sara, make a impossible decision, or John will be placed (again) into the position where he has to act, and of course this will have a major effect on the war of the future; meaning Skynet, robot conflict with the T3000 (Sherry Manson's characher) . I think the T3000 may not be a agent of Skynet, but a fraction of a rebellion aka Star Trek NG: borg character One; had to put in a STTNG refence.
